SimplyAlpaca, Kings Lodge, Flyford Flavell, Worcester, WR7 4DF
This course is suitable for anyone owning orconsidering purchasing alpacas or llamas.
What is Camelidynamics?
Camelidynamics is a respectful and effective approach to training and handling llamas and alpacas developed Marty McGee Bennett who has been a part of the camelid industry since 1981. The Camelidynamics approach incorporates TTEAM and TTOUCH principles and techniques (developed by Linda Tellington Jones) which have been thoughtfully adapted for llamas and alpacas.
With our busy lives, it is more important than ever to be able to accomplish the regular animal management tasks in less time and more efficiently. In this clinic, you will learn how to get more done and how to enjoy working with your animals, using the Camelidynamics methods that are safe, respectful, kind and fun.
The two day Basics Clinics are filled with instruction, learning techniques and equipment while practicing on training aids, invaluable role playing exercises, demonstrations with animals and time in the pen with the animals trying out your new knowledge.
Your Instructor Julie Taylor-Browne started training with Marty in 2002 and is the only Camelidynamics Instructor outside the USA. She also trained as a judge with the British Alpaca Society and the British Llama Society and in 2010 judged fleece in the UK, llamas and alpacas in Finland and alpacas in France. Julie’s friendly and supportive style ensures a fun, informative and enjoyable day!
If you have alpacas or llamas that present you with challenges or would like to take advantage of Julie’s skill and knowledge and practise these techniques on your own animals, we can offer space to a limited number of student’s own animals.
